The largest indoor ski village in Europe is just half an hour’s drive from Maastricht. In SnowWorld Landgraaf you will find 5 ski slopes, chair lifts, several restaurants, a thick pack of fresh snow 365 days a year and an exciting climbing park. As a starting pizza punter or seasoned downhiller you can ski here all year round. Nice for a day of snow fun. Or to get the hang of skiing.
Anyone who thinks you have to leave the country for a day of unadulterated winter sports is wrong. SnowWorld is located in South Limburg, just outside Landgraaf. The largest indoor winter sports village in Europe. SnowWorld has been an incredibly fun day out just outside Maastricht for years. But it is also the place to be for anyone who wants to master skiing or wants to optimize his technique.
SnowWorld is like real winter sports
Whatever the outside temperature, inside on the slopes it is always -5 degrees. Warm clothing and gloves are therefore a must. Are you ill prepared? Ski clothing, a helmet, boots and skis can all be rented at SnowWorld. And then how it works? Just like on a real piste: you buy a ski pass online or offline for an hour, half a day or a whole day. And then the fun can begin. If you step off the slopes – for example to drink a nice coffee or something to eat – the time on your ski pass will also stop. If you go back on the slopes, time ticks back further.
Practical information SnowWorld
You do not necessarily have to make a reservation if you want to come to SnowWorld. There is always room for you on the slopes. You can buy your entrance tickets at the box office or online. An hour of skiing costs € 19.50, a whole day costs € 42.50. Slightly cheaper rates apply for children. On the SnowWorld website you can read all about the prices, renting equipment and clothing, affordable group packages and the many options for eating and drinking.
